Each purchase of busTRACE 10.0 comes with a maintenance and support subscription. While your subscription is valid, you are entitled to the following benefits:
When your subscription has expired, you can purchase another year long renewal for a discounted price (or multiple years if desired). Visit our web site for details. You can renew your subscription at any time while your subscription is active or up until 30 days past your subscription expiration. You can still renew your subscription beyond the 30 day expiration, although for a higher upgrade price.
You can view your current subscription status by choosing Subscription Status... from the Help menu of the busTRACE Start Menu.
The Subscription Status field will tell you when your subscription will or has expired. The Product Type field tells you the edition of busTRACE that you have purchased.
If you renewed your subscription, you will receive a new Product Key from busTRACE Technologies. Simply click on the Update button to submit your new Product Key.
In order to let you know that your subscription is about to expire, busTRACE will start prompting you from time-to-time shortly before the expiration. Please visit our WEB site for details on purchasing an extension to your subscription.
If you decide to renew your subscription, the extension begins from the last expiration date. For example, if your subscription expires on November 1, 2016, and you purchase a one year extension on October 15, 2016, then your subscription will be extended until November 1, 2017.

When should I renew my subscription?
You can renew your subscription at any time within one year of purchase (plus 30 days), even at the time of purchase for busTRACE 10.0.
Do I have to renew my subscription within one year of my original purchase?
You can renew your subscription at any time up until 30 days past your subscription expiration. When you renew your subscription, the one year subscription renewal begins from your last expiration date.
What happens if I let my subscription expire?
You will no longer be able to receive the latest updates to busTRACE, analyze busTRACE Capture Client captures, analyze busTRACE Storage Manager output, or receive technical support. busTRACE 10.0 will still operate on your computer, however.
4. What if my subscription expires but I still want the last product update that was valid before my subscription expired?
You can still download any product updates from our web site. Although you will not be able to download the "latest" updates, you can still download the last update that was released prior to your subscription expiration.
Our busTRACE Updates page (available on our WEB site) is smart enough to know which update you are entitled too. Simply enter your e-mail address and busTRACE 10.0 Product Key and we'll figure out the rest.
5. What if my subscription expires and I later want to purchase an upgrade?
The special 1 Year Subscription Renewal price is only valid if you renew your subscription any time before your subscription expiration, or within 30 days past the expiration. If you want to purchase a subscription renewal 30 or more days past your subscription expiration, please visit our WEB site to see if there is a discount available.
6. Is a new product shipped out to me when I renew my subscription?
No. All initial purchases and product updates are provided to you via electronic download. When you renew your subscription, we will contact you via e-mail with a Product Key you will be able to use to extend your busTRACE subscription by another year.
