Once you have captured I/O activity, you may be interested in only viewing a subset of the captured I/Os. That is where busTRACE's filtering feature comes in. You can filter out any command captured, any status returned from the device, filter based on who sent the I/O request, as well as filter based on which device processed the command.

There are a variety of additional features that let you quickly filter out I/O activity by right clicking on the I/O in the I/O capture list. Full details are available in the busTRACE 6.0 user's manual.
